FILE SECURITY SYSTEM Abstract The File Security System is an application, which concentrates on the standards of data security and content authentication of any system. The standard of the system should discuss the issues of encryption and decryption standards of data management. The issues of the cipher text need to be dealt as per the standards given by the client. The proposed algorithms need to be worked out in formal way to come through the conclusions of implementations. The Application should manage a portfolio to manage and maintain the user profiles that has participated under the information generation and transfer. The application should take care of the standards of bandwidth and the network jitters that may be caused due to some unconditional constraints that may occur under the operational standards. The application should also take care in protecting the standards used in ciphering the text, and should manage the abstraction of the principles applied from time to time. Encryption of data plays a vital role in the real time environment to keep the data out of reach of unauthorized people, such that it is not altered and tampered. The File Security System is software, which tries to alter the originality of the text into some encrypted form. The major task of the File Security System is to provide the user the flexibility of passing the information implementing the encryption standards as per the specification and algorithms proposed and store the information in a form that is unreadable. The Application should have a reversal process as of which should be in a position to decrypt the data to its original format upon the proper request by the user. While the Encryption and Decryption is done the application should confirm the standards of authentication and authorization of the user. Software Requirements: • Operating System Windows NT/2000 (Client/Server). • Software requirements Front-end: Java JDK 1.4, J2Sdk 1.1.4, Swings. Communication Architecture: JDBC. Database maintenance: Oracle 8i. Existing System System definition is the process of obtaining a clear understanding of the problem space such as your business opportunities; user needs, or market environment and defining an application or system to solve that problem. In the existing system, file transfer is not a secured transaction. User Profiles and access controls are not integrated to provide higher-level security in data transfer. Encryption and decryption implementation through a character user interface is a complicated process where the user or the administrator is to follow some complex process. The information generated at the client side while under the standard of transfer should be secure enough and protected by any intrusions and interceptions that may occur while the information is transferred. The overall system should concentrate on the best algorithm that can be implemented for al the resource standards that can be implemented as per the standards of the technical quality. Proposed System The proposed system should have the following features. The transactions should take place in a secured format between various clients in the network. The validation code should be placed on the server and not on the client such that file transfer takes place between only the registered users only. This leads to a thin client, which is more desirable. The server should identify the type of request (GET/POST), file access permissions and perform appropriate action. It should also identify the user and provide the communication according to the prescribed level of security with transfer of the file requested and run the required process at the server if necessary. When responding to the client, the server should send necessary information such as User authorization and authentication information, Encryption, Decryption types and their level of hierarchy etc.

This system is very helpful to automation of entire life insurance system and also reduces the time and manpower. Users of the system: The users of the system are company chairman, Branch Managers, Customer, Agents. This system is designed such a way that the users can easily interact with the system with minimum knowledge. Definition of the problem To create or develop a new system first we have to study the prior system, Analysis difficult problems faced by the operator of that system. System Analysis therefore understands such problems and proposes a new system in which the above problems are rectified. Hardware and Software Specifications The development of this project deals with the following environment Software Requirements: One of the most difficult tasks is that, the selection of the software, once system requirement is known is determining whether a particular software package fits the requirements. After initial selection further security is needed to determine the desirability of particular software compared with other candidates. Its a common fact that, many people do not know about the importance of blood donation and equal number of people who are aware about it, are unaware about the chances when and where they can donate. This website serves to 5 kinds of people. The unaware people, people who are willing to donate but do not know when and where to donate, hospital managements who blindly search through network for a blood donor during emergency cases, blood donation camps and doctors who want to spread awareness. Features: • Complete blood donation awareness information online • Registration for every individual who are willing to donate • Special accounts for Blood Donation camps (NGO), and Hospitals • Doctor’s Talk • Emergency requirements on home page • Existing System: In earlier days blood requests are carried through messages from one people to other people. That communication will be in the form of messages through mobiles or through word of mouth. It is a late process and some requests can’t succeed to some extent. By this many people lives may get under jeopardy. Disadvantages: 1) Communication which happens whenever need for the blood arises is not effective, then people lives may get under peril. 2) Human resources may not work in the brisk way if any emergency request heaves up. Proposed System: In this system people can explore for the required blood group very easily through internet, if the requisite donor is available we will contact with that person directly. E-Voting System Java Project ABSTRACT: E-Voting is a fully web based voting software solution based on network security. With the access control capabilities and the reliability, the network security has tremendously increased in providing authenticity and security. The present system conducts the elections manually, which takes lot of effort for conducting, maintaining and evaluating the voting process. This Automation helps in overcoming all the above mentioned problems and also helps in avoiding any kind of tempering that can be done. Rather than employing expensive consultants to print and mail paper ballots or setup and manage your elections, E-Voting puts the power of online voting in the hands of election administrators. This project makes use of Java Servlets which provides a Java-based solution used to address the problems currently associated with doing server-side programming. Servlets are objects that conform to a specific interface that can be plugged into a Java-based server. Servlets are to the server-side what applets are to the client-side. Security is provided by RSA algorithm which is an ASSYMETRIC cryptographic algorithm with a pair of keys used for encryption and decryption. PRESENT SYSTEM: Presently elections are being conducted with electronic voting machines, which has revolutionized election conducting process in the last decade. FEATURES OF ELECTRONIC VOING MACHINE: An Electronic Voting Machine consists of two Units – a Control Unit and a Balloting Unit – joined by a five-meter cable. The Control Unit is with the Presiding Officer or a Polling Officer and the Balloting Unit is placed inside the voting compartment. Instead of issuing a ballot paper, the Polling Officer in-charge of the Control Unit will press the Ballot Button. This will enable the voter to cast his vote by pressing the blue button on the Balloting Unit against the candidate and symbol of his choice DISADVANTAGES OF EVM: If we want to engineer a repoll, we can bring an electromagnetic pulse generator near an EVM and erase its memory. The EVMs could also be interfered with after the election but before counting. All electronic circuits are susceptible to electromagnetic interference. Even when EVMs are kept physically sealed inside a strong room, an expert who knows the resonant frequencies of the circuits could remotely send signals from a distance away. It is also not known what physical shocks EVMs can withstand. Cost of EVM is also a major drawback. This system does not avoid the manual work that is associated with the previous ballot system. PROPOSED SYSTEM: We speak of electronic voting when casting of votes is carried out by the voter directly by electronic means, thus obtaining an end to end digital vote .The use of paper and other physical systems is optional and auxiliary. Types of Online voting: According to our previous definition, we can classify Online voting in two categories: A. POLL-SITE VOTING: This type of electronic voting takes place when voters personally attend a specific place to cast their votes, usually through electronic devices such as touch screen voting terminals. The identity of the voter is verified with conventional methods (IDs, Passports, etc.). B. REMOTE ELECTRONIC VOTING: This type of online voting takes place when voters cast their vote from any location with access to the Internet via mobile telephone, PCs, PDAs, etc. The methods used to identify the voter are via digital signature, biometrics, PIN codes, etc. The advantages offered by Online voting: Greater speed and accuracy in the tallying of votes. Greater savings in material costs in the printing and distribution of paper ballots. Greater accessibility for the disabled. Flexibility in the modification of ballot lay outs. Support of multiple languages. Better access to information regarding voting options. Prevention of involuntary errors when filling the ballot. When the electronic vote is remote, in addition to the previous advantages, further benefits are provided: Economies of scale as the size of the electoral roll increases. Greater mobility and convenience for voters. Potential increase of participation in the voting process. The proposed system is a fully web based voting software solution which makes efficient use of the developments in both Information Technology and Network Security. With the access control capabilities and the reliability, the Network Security has tremendously increased in providing authenticity and security. Modules: 1. Administrator 2. Traveling: Travel Management System provides reservation facility to their customers for all types of travels they provide booking for train, cruise, car and flight. ABSTRACT The Internet’s excellent scalability and robustness result in part from the end-to-end nature of Internet congestion control. End-to-end congestion control algorithms alone, however, are unable to prevent the congestion collapse and unfairness created by applications that are unresponsive to network congestion. To address these maladies, we propose and investigate a novel congestion-avoidance mechanism called Congestion Free Router (CFR). CFR entails the exchange of feedback between routers at the borders of a network in order to detect and restrict unresponsive traffic flows before they enter the network, thereby preventing congestion within the network. The Internet’s excellent scalability and robustness result in part from the end-to-end nature of Internet congestion control. End-to-end congestion control algorithms alone, however, are unable to prevent the congestion collapse and unfairness created by applications that are unresponsive to network congestion. Besides this cost of maintaining a manually was more as compared to the computerized process. Besides this there were complexities but not the least there was minimal amount of data security. USERS  Sender Sender who make a stegano image. Sender is an authorized person who sends important information with the help of an image to receiver. Receiver Receiver is an authorized person who extracts important information from image in a secure way. Receiver receives information from sender. SCOPE OF STEGANOGRAPHY Encryption The object file which is supposed to be proceeding will be encrypted in some binary codes. This binary code depends on the nature of the object file. This encryption is different for different files. As, example the encryption is made of text file which is absolutely different from any audio file or image files. Data Chucking In this process the encrypted file is chunked in various parts and then this file is to Be proceed for the further streganography. The aim of this step is to reduce the stenography time and increase the effectiveness of this procedure. Steganography In this process the steganography is done on the chunked encrypted files. In this Process the binary codes of the encrypted files are to be changed by any of the method as mentioned below. Specific method changes the specific binary numbers. Sending the chunked files In this process this chunked files are supposed to be sent to the receiver and this Files will be in the hidden form. This all files are received by the receiver and then are proceed to get the original data. File recombination In this process the chunked files are supposed to be recombined to get the whole File and this procedure are done on the receiver end, so the receiver must have the stego-key or any secret information from the sender so that the receiver can get the original file. This may be unbeneficial to administrator. Hence also there is not accuracy in bill calculation. Also a lot of files, records are required to store these documents thus making it difficult to maintain. Since all these reports are prepared manually, we require computer software for all these purposes. REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS Every user interacts with system with some needs and requirements such as: 1. Get data or information immediately. 2. Comprehensive information accessing and retrieving data to provide valuable reports. 3. Better utilization of time and manpower. 4. User should have basic knowledge of computer. 5. Every user must know the function of each master entry, transaction entry and reports. 6. User should know the format of database. College Fest Organizer Abstract: In these days almost every college is conducting technical fests where we can gain some knowledge by participating. College, which is conducting fest, will invite so many colleges for the competition. This project is the organizer for event management in a college. This provides college management to schedule events online and assign student volunteers for an event. Event Managers can upload information related to the event in the form of audio, video files. The students and participants can view these files online and download. Event organizers create schedules for events using well-developed web interface and assign student volunteers at the time of schedule creation. The students register with the site and some of them register as volunteers. Only event organizers and volunteers can upload event content to the site. College Fest Organizer can be extended to organize the events conducted in a city so that this will be an online portal for any type of event conducted in a city. Existing System Fest is organized in almost all the colleges but all the work is done manually. The events are decided upon and then students are asked whether they will volunteer or not then all the details are maintained in files. Many colleges have websites for fest that they organize in their colleges but this website is used for displaying the various events details that are going to be conducted in those colleges for informing the other college students. Proposed System The proposed system aims at providing the students and organizers a common platform to share files related to the events. This system allows students who want to volunteer to register with the application and view the various events that are to be conducted. The organizers can also register and post the event detail and they can even select volunteers for the event. The organizers can also upload and download files related to the events. This module contains the registration page, login page .In this module the user is provided with a username and password This is used to have access to the uploaded files .IF the user is event organizer then he can add new events and update them where as a volunteer has only access to the contents uploaded. So this module gives privileges depending on the user type and avoids access of unauthenticated users EVENT ORGANIZER MODULE In this module, the event organizer can post a new event and furnish various details related to that event and assign volunteers. The Event Organizer can also update or modify details related to the posted event. The can upload files related to events and can also play and download them. FILE MANAGEMENT MODULE In this module the user is allowed to upload contents which can be documents or video files. In this module the user can download the files and also play the files online. The files are saved on the folder on the server. This project will be accessible to all developers and its facility allows developers to focus on creating the database schema and while letting the application server define table based on the fields in JSP and relationships between them. This system provides the following facilities. The objectives of this system are: • To keep track of employee skills and based on the skills assigning of the task is done to an employee. • Employee does bugs capturing. It can be done on daily basis. Various Reports are generated by this System for an employee and as well as to a manager. Existing System The existing system consists of entering the details in the Microsoft Excel Sheets for the storing of the data. When a manager needs information of the employee he searches for the specified file in the file system. He opens the file and takes the information. Report Generation done manually by copying the content of the different files into another file. The Manually generated report was then printed. Limitations in Existing System • Information retrieval is a very big process. • Lack of organization of the files may porn to information loss due to accidental deletion of files. • No security because the files are visible to the users. • Report generation will be a big task. Proposed System The Proposed system is a browser which is completely related to online system, which provides the centralized database. It stores bugs data and description of the particular bug data. It can also create Excel reports and PDF documents based on the information in its database.
