HI . i have a Q. I am afraid that it is not related to video above . But hope if u can help .
What happens to overnight position in FNO after any corporate action Viz- Stock split , bonus share issue, merger news or demerger news . Stock holder gets rewarded with bonus share , or credited with splitted shares . But what happens to derivative holders . How they get affected , does contract gets modified so that holder(derivative holder) is neither negatively nor positively affected by the corporate action . Or they get under the road roller and become history .
Hi Rayner. Does it mean to say that when you pick a stock with price above 200 MA, and respects 50 MA, support, you are preparing for the probability of a stable stock within a 6 month to one year time frame and we are considering the probability that this will rise and fall every month or two for another opportunity to enter and gain profit given the right exit?
Can you make one strategy on 1hour chart using time series moving average. I don't like intra day trading. I like positional trading for 2 to 10 days. Please make a video on triangular and time series moving average.
Rayner can you please answer the following question which many have asked i.e. What time frame is thi strategy best suited to. I trade 15mins, my trigger is the 5 min. Will this strategy work with these times frames? Otherwise please advise the best time frame - thank you
There's no best timeframe out there.
Likewise, there is no best indicator, strategy, or whatsoever.
It all boils down to YOU — your
goals and what you want from trading.
Once you nailed that down, then you
can find an approach that suits you BEST.
Hey guys. I've coded the strategy as described by Rayner (slightly different though).
No cost assumptions made (Slippage/Commissions).
Profit target is set at a recent 50 day high (To approximate a swing high)
No stop loss (So performace is proabalby worse in some areas than the test indicates)
Tested only on Russel 2000 Futures Index from October 2001
Let me know if this is interesting or not.
I did a study using four hour up to weekly charts and drawing a simple trend line up or down, with a breakout up or down was far more effective and predictive than moving averages of all manner. Short, long, crosses, etc. MA's are lagging as are all indicators. For some reason, especially so on the AUD/JPY.
Hi Rayner, I've been demo trading your strategy. Based on my newbie observation, am I right to say if we apply the strategy to lower tf, the trend tend to be more shorter compared to higher tf. What tf would you recommmend?
hi rayner....i am following ur book ...find it very valuable....but i use this knowledge to trade cryptocurrencies......there is a problem to find the best alt coin to trade....is there any technique to find right pair....any screener....thanks
Great video! I use similar methods and have coded an EA to trade this on autopilot with great success. Just a quick question, are your moving averages simple, smoothed, exponential or linear weighted? Thanks for the great work bud!
Hi Rayner, This is really a great video. I will like to ask for example i had exited once due to candle close below the 50MA. If the market is still on long uptrend, how do i re enter? do i need to wait for the third rebound? or i can enter straight on the next rebound. and why? Thank you so much.
I want to add:
You are trading a Trend strategy but you are wasting the potential of this strategy by setting the targets way too near. Sure it makes sense to place them there, but you have to trade with higher Lots to make a good amount of money that suits you because you gain less Pips. Risk reward also could be better if you set the targets higher. This could be done by using Fibonaccis or drawing trendlines for the shorter trend and looking for breakouts which act as targets. Also important S&R Zones can lead the way to TP.
Yes. @4:50, he talks about price rejection. This is a key point! If there is a clear price rejection as price touches or passes the 50 EMA, it improves the chances of the trade working substantially. Also, I had to work on my stop losses. But this VERY basic strategy does work, but YOU have to work it effectively. You have to scope out the proper set up.
Good methods. Folks need to do their own due diligence or you lose money when you try to apply money making methods to every stock. First, know your stock, resistance and supports, then apply the methods. Don't go with methods and strategies until you know the stock. my 2 cents thanks
I think this man has said it all trading simplicity and edge the more you maintain these two the more you become consistency .most of us traders fail simply by getting lost on the bias and not following rules .50 ma is one of best tools I wouldn't trade without ever as it guides me and I I'm always intrested on my charts especially when price touches that MA it doesn't matter what is happening on the market as long as the 50 moving avarage is touched its either there is a bullish or bearish opportunity unfolding .stay consistent traders
Loved the video, though I wanted to ask what type of MAs are the 50 and 200,i.e are they simple, weighted or exponential moving averages.Lastly what time frame and currency pairs are more effective for the strategy...thanks again and a big God-bless.
This strategy can only work when price is in a nice trend. Other times this strategy is worthless. Plus price does not often bounce off the MA. There are times it will go through before reversing. Please use this strategy with caution. You need 3 confluences before taking a trade
I use the 20/50 ema cross as bull/bear and also as dynamic S/R, then I focus on longs above 8 ema momentum in bull or shorts below. So what I see is the longer trend, support resistance, and momentum. All sizing is done off 3X 20 period atr

We use a series of highly complex algorithms, updated in real time, that helps decipher the trends
and high probability points where the next price movement will begin. It's a type of advanced
artificial intelligence called Neural Networks. Artificial Neural Networks behave like humans--making
assumptions and strongly testing them to reach the most logical conclusions. Artificial Neural Networks
performs back-testing against its own algorithms. Our system also has other advanced components that
include Adaptive Harmonics, Statistical Spectral Analysis, and Digital Filtration.

A Detailed FiNMAX Review To Investigate The Reliability Of The Broker.
Intro To FiNMAX Trading.
FiNMAX is one of the latest binary options brokers to cater to the global demand for improved binary options services. Although we see a lot of brokers trying different permutations and combinations while developing their binary options brokerage, FiNMAX is content with sticking to the tried and tested formula of a straightforward binary options service. The Binary Options market is a thriving industry, and brokers try to introduce new and innovative features that are designed to gain an edge in the competitive marketplace. Due to the ever-improving brokerage environment, traders these days have some of the most advanced binary options accounts and products that enable them to enjoy large profits than ever before.
FiNMAX, instead of trying out new concepts in binary trading, has taken all the accomplished products and services that are prevalent in the markets and added them to their brokerage account. As a result, what you get is a reasonably competent binary options account that cover all key aspects of binary options trading in an affordable package. Of course, not all is well with FiNMAX, as the broker has failed to address some of the pressing concerns that are relevant to its clients. In our FiNMAX binary options review, we give you a relatively transparent outline of what makes FiNMAX a good choice of a brokerage, and what are all the negative aspects that you should contemplate before opening an account.
Under first impressions, it is clear that FiNMAX has clearly understood all the primary requirements of traders. In fact, FiNMAX tries hard to display itself as a genuine binary options trading company, despite its humble beginnings in 2016. It was certainly refreshing to see that FiNMAX is located in the UK, with additional offices in Bulgaria, Cyprus, Australia, Canada, and Italy. The professionally designed website also leaves no stones unturned as to the commitment of the company towards ensuring complete transparency in its products and services.
