Is it possible to simplify a mesh/object and then export it to another project already simplified?

Guys, it is not worth 60 bucks. Get Blender instead for free, import the model and use Decimate modifier. Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gq-6X3pzUOE

Zbrush has a decimator tool. Ask modeler to decimate mesh. OR get a zbrush trial to decimate it. It saves you 60 dollars lol

I am about to purchase this, but I just wanted to say excellent work on this video. The narration is awesome, but the detail and the straight to the point information is beautifully done. Excellent work!

can this be used on the fly? if I want to simplify objects that go further into the distance?

That would be the asset Automatic LOD which decreases/simplifies meshes using this same source but accordingly to distance. The one in this video has to be done manually.

I just bought the tool I'm using a daz model, now what would be considered the root because there isn't a part called root, also when Iaod the mesh simplify script it doesn't affect the children of the model so I have to add it all over again & can't find the override tool
